The U.S. Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville has issued PSIB 13-08 announcing Dec. 1, 2008 as the enforcement date for the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) in Jacksonville. If you need unescorted access in the secure areas of port facilities and vessels, then you need a TWIC badge.
